Plaza de España en Sevilla

It’s the Plaza de España, in Sevilla. Like many of the images I recently published in a winter’s day.

Main building for the Iberoamerican exhibit of 1929, its semi-elliptical shape symbolizes the embrace of Spain to its former colonies.

King Alfonso XIII, who oversaw its construction, was quoted saying.

“Gentlemen, I knew it was going to be beautiful, but not that much”

The true reason to publish this image was to test some technical elements that should not be of interest to the reader, a more responsive design.

As always, this images are meant to be viewed in full screen. Be sure to click on the image, right icon.
